In a hazy fantasy, a dancer walks in starlight and discovers a tall streetlamp. The lamppost’s pole becomes her stage as she spins, twirls, climbs, and poses with beauty and grace. Her dress flows and shimmers in the moonlight, her light shining from within. Passion, dreams, and feeling swirl around her, orchestrating the music of her dance. 
 
This piece is a resin cast version of my hand-sculpted oil clay sculpture. I made a rubber and plaster mold, cast the sculpture in resin, and hand-painted it with acrylic paints to complete the scene.
